Pick a start
Begin from the Pixel Pals example and change what you need, start empty, or load a show.json you saved before.
Your show
The name, address and Twitch channel. These appear on every page of the site.
Host and About page
Who runs the show, and a few short paragraphs for the About page.
Kinds of show
Each kind gets a color tag. The site files a Discord event under a kind when the event's title contains one of that kind's keywords.
Weekly schedule
The site uses these when your Discord events aren't connected. Enter times in UTC; your local time is shown beside each one.
Ticker and guests
Ticker lines scroll along the bottom bar when nothing live is coming in. Guests are optional: list past guests by topic, and set a goal if you are counting.
Look
Keep the Pixel Pals look, or pick your own four colors and a font style. The preview updates as you go.
Two more colors (optional)
Connections and plugins
These IDs let the site read your Twitch, YouTube and Discord. None of them are secret. Leave any empty to switch that part off for now.
Your Discord
Optional. New members see these when they join your Discord: a welcome message, and onboarding questions whose answers hand out roles and channels. You copy them into Discord yourself for now, and the Discord guide (step 5) shows where. A later Discord plugin will set them for you.
Review and save
This list shows each problem; select one to jump to it. When the list is clear, save your show.json.
Next: upload show.json to your GitHub copy (Add file, Upload files, Commit changes). If your site is already running, it updates itself within 5 minutes. If not, the server guide sets it up, and the server runs the same checks as this page.
